Business Live 2018 will take place on October, 19th and will feature as part of Lincolnshire Business Week (15 -19 October). The event is one of Greater Lincolnshire’s essential business to business events which will feature exhibitors and project showcasing from key sectors within Greater Lincolnshire (property, tourism, finance, international trade, food and farming, construction, manufacturing, education, technology, health care and renewables).

This talk will cover the journey Micronclean has made from being one of many provincial flat work laundries to a company that specialises in garment laundry ranging from heavy PPE to Cleanroom clothing and sells cleanroom consumables worldwide. The talk will cover some of the product and process innovations but also look at the development of the company culture in line with the development of the SKIEs programme.

10.15am-11am – Keynote Speaker. Simon Timson, Lawns Tennis Association, Performance Director.

Simon Timson is the Lawn Tennis Association’s Performance Director. Taking the reins at British tennis’s governing body having led British Olympic and Paralympic sport to unprecedented success at the 2016 Rio Games as Director of Performance at UK Sport. Simon oversaw the development, implementation and performance management of UK Sport’s performance strategy that saw TeamGB finish 2nd on the Olympic and Paralympic medal tables. From 2006 to 2012, he was the first Head of Science & Medicine and later Head of the England Development Programme at the England & Wales Cricket Board, and prior to joining the ECB, Simon was
Performance Director at British Skeleton for six years leading the team to Bronze and Silver medals at the 2002 and 2006 Olympic Winter Games. Simon is
also co-author of the The Talent Lab about how to turn potential into world beating success. The book was recognised as a William Hill Sports book of the year in 2016.
