LIBS Connect

Lincoln City Football Club, Sincil Bank

When Great Britain Women’s Hockey Team won Gold at the 2016 Olympic Games their coach at the time, Danny Kerry MBE, said of their performance throughout the games “It all sounds a bit cliche, but it was the whole piece around values, visions and behaviours, and off the back of that they have driven a very high expectation of what their daily training environment looks like.” He emphasised that 'culture precedes performance' and the importance of common purpose. He encourages his players to consider scenarios and to work out for themselves how to 'find a way' in game situations. So for Danny, a culture and a style of leading through empowerment was key to his teams success.
Join us for our next LIBS Connect at the home of Lincoln City FC, Sincil Bank. We’ll be looking to the sporting industry for lessons and insight into what makes a winning culture and an impactful leader. With special guests from Lincoln City FC, industry experts and Dr Hanya Pielichaty, Senior Lecturer, this LIBS Connect aims to deliver practical takeaways for you to implement in your business, alongside opportunities to network and connect.

Throughout the day we will be hear from various speakers on their take on sport and how they have taken it into the work place. We hope to see you there.

Hemswell Court, Lancaster Green, Hemswell Cliff, Gainsborough DN21 5TQ

The Lincolnshire Family Business Forum, hosted by Streets Chartered Accountants, NatWest Bank and Andrew &
Co Solicitors and supported by Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub, acknowledges
the important role that family businesses play in Lincolnshire’s economy and
recognises the unique challenges they face.

The focus for this forum meeting

traded for multiple generations. The session will include a panel of
Lincolnshire family businesses who will give us an insight into their business
and the challenges of running, developing and managing a business for more than

session for our attendees, members of the other many family businesses.

management team. A family business is defined as a business in which two or
more members of one family have a controlling interest or derive income from
it; and/or a business which has traded with more than one family member
